In 2008 he became the head coach at Spring Hill High School, again turning around a program from 2-8 in his first season to 8-3 and the first round of the playoffs in his second year. He spent five seasons with the Raiders. SCHS posted a 19-22 record over the last four seasons, including 6-4 in 2015 and 6-5 with a first-round playoff appearance in 2016. He began his tenure at Oakland in 2019, working with running backs throughout his time at OHS. The Patriots won state championships in 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2024 and reached the state semifinals in 2019. He rejoined the staff in November 2023 for the playoff run to a state runner-up finish.
