Bio

Coach Vetetoe begins his eighth year at Oakland High, moving back to the varsity team after one year as the head coach for the OHS freshman. The Hartsville, Tenn., native played in high school for Coach Creasy at Trousdale County, graduating in 2005 before embarking on a college baseball career at Columbia State, Maryville College and Cumberland University, winning a national title at Cumberland in 2010 on a team that finished 58-9. During his year at Cumberland he began working at Trousdale County as an assistant coach for Creasy, who was then the head coach at TCHS, winning state championships in 2009 and 2013 with the Yellow Jackets. Vetetoe became the head baseball coach at Lebanon High in 2014, serving in that role for four years, earning 9-AAA District Coach of the Year in his first season. He returned to the football sidelines in 2018 at OHS and has been a part of four state championship staffs with the Patriots. Vetetoe has three children, two boys (Nolan and Dax) and a girl (Ryleigh).
